Not that all of it is uniformly terrible or...
…but I really wish the indie rock genre would break out of its current obsession with sweet tinkly pop songs. It’s all so goddamn pleasant that it kind of makes me want to barf. I liked The Shins too (at first), but I mean, damn. Get over it already.
