chaystar: (via Chaystar) Something I have never forgotten: During an interview on an episode of MTV’s Alternative Nation that aired when I was in high school (probably during the spring semester of my senior year, so, sometime between January and May of 1993), Aimee Mann mentioned to Alternative Nation’s host, Kennedy, that she’d do a commercial endorsement if someone paid her a million dollars to do it, but that she probably couldn’t command that kind of fee. Kennedy’s response was something along the lines of, “But hey, is there anything you wouldn’t do for a million dollars?” To which Aimee Mann responded, “I wouldn’t get a pair of glasses tattooed onto my face.” That’s what this picture makes me think of.
