I suppose this is a joke? Is this how she deals with commentary about the lack of diversity in the show? I am baffled, someone through me a rope!

Well, this made me feel like barfing.

OH MY GOD I SAW THIS BUT I DIDN’T KNOW SHE WROTE FOR THE SHOW.
This should be grounds for termination.

I mean, that’s obviously a joke, though. And I have a lot of trouble identifying sarcasm, but I see that as sarcasm immediately. Is it just that this kind of joke is considered off-limits for people to make, or are people pissed because they’re taking it seriously?

Yeah, it’s a joke, but about people legitimately complaining that there are 4 basically identical white girls playing the leads in a show that is set in BROOKLYN. I mean, some variety, please. It’s not a stretch to ask for any actors/actresses of color in that setting. The joke is in bad taste.

OK, I see what you mean. I think I was lacking the appropriate context to entirely get what was going on here.
