Because of this, I am going to listen to Kool Keith all weekend and judge whether he embodies the TRIUMVATE OF FUCKING GENIUS THAT IS Prince, Morrissey and David Bowie.  If he proves to be anything less than GODDAMN HOLY FUCK SHIT BALLZ amazing, I am going to track down the person who made this chart and fucking KILL THEM.

I take my Prince references very seriously.

 He was indeed that brilliant back in the 90s when he was changing his name on every record, but since about 8 years ago he’s been significantly less good. To hear his best work, get Black Elvis/Lost In Space, Dr. Octagon’s Doctor Octagonecologyst, and Dr. Dooom’s First Come First Served. Yes, all three albums are by the same artist, and yes, “Dr. Dooom” is spelled with three o’s.

And if you like this guy, you should also check out the work of MF Doom (aka Viktor Vaughn, aka King Geedorah, aka the rapping half of Madvillain and Dangerdoom). Crazy rappers who change their name on every album tend to be worth looking into, I’ve found.
